We have already been around for over two years. The way in which The Breast Centre of Cyprus has been embraced by the wider public proves beyond any doubt how essential such a specialised centre is to our country. It is our turn now to officially give back some of the love that we have received. It started us joining the General Healthcare System (GESY). By going through with this we wanted to declare the need for such provision of service to all the women of Cyprus, regardless of their financial status, with the ultimate goal being to reduce and why not even treat breast cancer. In 2020, we officially integrate Corporate Social Responsibility of the Breast Centre of Cyprus into our lives, which will of course be at the centre of our identity. The focus of our activity in the healthcare sector will be the value of offering to the community as a whole, therefore developing a Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) programme is part of our corporate philosophy and professional ethics.
The CSR programme of the Breast Centre of Cyprus will be a range of predetermined actions and social activities system which are developed according to a fundamental philosophy: to cover a wide range of existing and essential social needs. Within this framework, the Corporate Social Responsibility programme that commenced discreetly (but not on an official record) in 2019 ,now in 2020 officially continues its action with its point of reference always being people, and each action of ours being human-centred.
The Breast Centre of Cyprus is conducting a series of corporate social responsibility actions that will have the full support and participation of the administrative, medical and nursing staff of the Centre, proving in practice the sense of selfless contribution and solidarity to the society.
